    Claude Duet: one full limit reset when you are admitted

    Pro and Max subscribers with a US Claude account who are admitted to the Claude Duet research preview get one full limit reset, covering both the five-hour session and weekly limits. Use it by November 30, 2026 from Settings → Usage on the web or desktop ("Reset for free"). Admission is by waitlist in waves; Duet itself draws on the same plan limits as chat, including background work.

    Lydia Hallie announced that weekly limits had just been reset for everyone on a Claude Max plan, citing the Fable 5.1 release and a long weekend ahead. The post does not mention 5-hour limits or other plans.

Monthly Claude API credits

Monthly Claude Platform credits for any available Claude model in your apps or third-party harnesses using the Claude API, plus the Playground, Managed Agents and Agent SDK. Team receives $20 per Standard seat and $100 per Premium seat, pooled up to $500/month. Credits refresh each billing cycle (monthly on annual plans); unused credits expire each cycle. They do not increase subscription limits or cover interactive Claude Code, extra usage in Claude or Cowork, or third-party cloud providers.

Who qualifies
Max and Team subscriptions in good standing, including discounted Team plans, after seven days on the plan. Free, Pro and Enterprise are excluded. Rolling out over a few days, so eligible accounts may not see it yet. No payment card is needed on Claude Platform.
How to get it
  1. On claude.ai in a web browser, open Settings > Billing (Max) or Organization settings > Billing (Team Primary Owner or Owner).
  2. In API credits, select Link organization. Choose or create a Console organization where you have the Owner, Admin or Billing role.
  3. Review the Supplemental Credit Terms and link the organization. Only one organization can be linked, and each can receive credits from one plan. Changing it later requires support.
  4. Check the balance and expiry in Console Settings > Billing. Everyone with an API key in the linked organization shares the credits; monthly credits are spent before purchased credits.
  5. When credits run out, purchased credits or auto-reload cover further usage; otherwise API requests stop until the next grant. Invoiced organizations are billed as usual. Your Claude plan is never charged for API usage.
