Browser alerts

If you turn on browser alerts, the push subscription your browser generates (an endpoint URL and encryption keys) is stored so that reset notifications can be sent. No name or email is involved. Turning alerts off deletes the subscription and any undelivered alert; subscriptions the push service reports as expired are deleted automatically.

Reactions

The beg button stores an anonymous, signed random identifier in a cookie so that one reaction per browser per cooldown window can be enforced. It is not linked to you and does not track you across sites. Short-lived rate-limit counters do not persist.

Theme and preferences

Your theme choice and calendar/archive state are kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to the server.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes request metadata such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site. Raw IP addresses are not stored by this application.

Data retention

Push subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or they expire. Reaction cooldown records expire after the cooldown window. The published announcement history is public data.
